WHAT I WAS THINKING… Four things this week. The first is obviously Bob Dylan’s new album Live 1975 which is fantastic and throws up this fascinating moment where in Oh Sister he sings about getting SAVED! And pauses to rapturous applause from the same audience that would not be so applauding when he had his Christian conversion a few years later! Secondly I had a few new and interesting albums from the Christian market that I wanted to rock up the show with. Thirdly Aqualung, introduced to me by Jude Adam just a few weeks ago, had the song If I Fall which reminded me of Juliet Turner’s Falling. That needed a little carrying before we give in to the festive season with two Christmas songs chosen because I had just got the classic Randy Stonehill album from 1976 Welcome To Paradise.
