Lyrics to Unwritten Tunes - Poetry and liturgy

My Mystery, Her Beauty, and His Holy Ghost

Took a walk, it was almost summer
Saw the green and heard the birds
Played a song that said "I love you"
Sensed the joy and sang the words
Time gets filled with clutter and clatter
The din of life's constant alarms
You can lose the you inside yourself
And the grace of transcendent charms
I've got to run to the silence
And the moments that matter the most
Find the quiet to think and love and be
With my mystery, her beauty and His Holy Ghost.

Took a walk, it was almost summer
Saw the blue and smelt the grass
Read a book that said, "I love you"
Sended the truth and believed it would last
Life can be deep as the ocean
But you can hear the breakers crashing
Your soul can be smashed and tossed about
When you ride it with a passion
I've got to sail into the shallows
And the moments that matter the most
Find the quiet to think and love and be
With my mystery, her beauty and His Holy Ghost.
